Hi, I'm Nuran! Originally from Istanbul, Turkey, I am currently based in Northern VA. I pursued a degree in Graphic Design at VCUarts and will graduate in May 2023.

In 2019, I stumbled upon Ian Splater's episode of Abstract on Netflix, where he talked about Product Design. The show inspired me to explore the world of UI/UX design. At the time, I was facing financial challenges and contemplating dropping out of college to enroll in a BootCamp for UI/UX design. However, I was fortunate to be selected as one of the ten scholars for the Adobe Creativity Scholarship in 2020. The scholarship covered my tuition, and I continued my studies while focusing on UI/UX design.

As a designer, I believe in using my skills for positive social impact whenever possible. Currently, I am working on the Art4Relief fundraiser project to support the victims of the recent earthquake in Turkey.
